I love this little computer! I had a dell Inspiron running windows XP and i decided to get this to use for school. Well that worked for about a few weeks until i gave my dell to my brother and use this as my main one. let me tell you windows 7 is amazing the starter version let’s you have more than just 3 windows open. Another great thing about this is the customer service is grat I broke my screen after i broke th screen we shipped it off they sent it back and did’t charge us a dime!

Big bang for your buck! It even looks like it is higher quality than all the other brands of netbooks out there…I am very happy with it Windows 7 is awesome…60 trial of microsoft word is also awesome but don’t get too excited about the 250 gb free web storage…I tried it out…took 15 minutes to upload just one music album (12 songs)…no bueno. Okay…so the only reason my rating is one star short of perfect is because there are some things I would change…first of all the 11 hour batter life is great…but for that you get a bulky heavy battery resulting in a heavier than it looks netbook with a bulky rear end….I am used to macbooks having a nice even uniform body so that kind of throws me off a little. And the last thing is the output sound quality is not so great…again I am comparing it to a macbook i previously owned :/ but I guess it is still good for a netbook. I would recommend this computer to anyone looking for something with the basic functions at a reasonable price!

Since I got this netbook I take it everywhere with me. It does everything that you need-email, internet browse and other things. I use it for book reading instead of my Kindle. It is light weight and I can read while in bed with it. I absolutely recommend this netbook for anyone.
Perfect product-I have had it for several weeks now and have had no problems. Try it-you will love it.

I am very pleased with the ASUS Eee 1201N I purchased. It is compact enough to carry in a messenger bag yet, powerful enough to hand just about any application no requiring external media (CD/DVD). The screen resolution and color production is top notch. It has out performed more than I bargained it would.

I have never gotten 5 hours out of the battery life. I assume the battery life would actually last 5 hours if the netbook was sitting, doing nothing, in screensaver mode, etc. It does run hot. I read is the new NVidia ION chipset creating the hot temperatures.

I’ll keep this brief. The 1005PE is one damn quick netbook. Running either Windows 7 or Snow Leopard, it boots and runs apps much faster than I would have expected (I upgraded the RAM to 2GB). I was always skeptical about how capable netbooks were, and this one delivers big time.

Asus Eee PC 1008HA Seashell 10.1-Inch Pearl Blue Netbook - 6 Hour Battery Life Review

Better than expected. The keyboard is great. I don’t have any problems with the screen as some other users commented. Battery life seems sufficient although I don’t use it for long periods of time. Great size and weight. And, I love the blue color of the netbook.
